This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Steep Estate in Elmo, Texas in 1989.

  1. Drain artichokes then cut in quarters.
  2. Beat eggs then add cheeses and buttermilk then stir in seasonings and bacon.
  3. Place artichokes in bottom of pie shell and pour cheese mixture over artichokes then bake at 375°F for 1 hour.
