Linguine with Oil and Garlic

1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil, divided 10 cloves garlic, minced 3/4 pound uncooked linguine 1/4 t. black pepper 1/4 t. salt, optional

Heat 2 T. olive oil in small pan over medium heat. Add garlic; cook and stir until lightly browned. Remove from heat; set aside. Cook linguine as package directs until tender. Do not overcook. Drain pasta; return to pan. Toss with garlic and olive oil mixture, remaining 6 T. olive oil, pepper and salt if desired. Makes 4 servings Source: Unknown
