Lindy's Red Chili

2 1/2 pounds coarsely ground beef 1 medium onion, diced 2 T. black pepper or to taste 2 T. garlic powder 2 T. cumin 2 t. oregano 1/2 cup paprika 1 T. salt 1/2 cup chili powder or to taste 2 cups water 1 cup flour Additional water as needed

Cook meat and add remaining ingredients except flour. combine flour with water to make a roux. Add to meat mixture until desired thickness occurs. Let simmer until flour is cooked, at least half an hour. Serve hot. Serves 12 to 14 Source: Unknown
