Liberian Cassava Cake

• 12 eggs 2 lbs. butter
• 3 cups of flour 16-tsb baking power
• 2 sm tins of canned milk 5 cups cassava
• 3 cups of Sugar
• 1- tsp cloves
• 1-tsp allspice
• 1-tsp nutmeg
• 1-tsp cinnamon

1. Grate cassava.
2. Put cassava into a pillowcase.
3. Set out in the sun with a heavy stone on top for 3-4 hours.
4. Take cassava and sift.
5. cream butter, Sugar and eggs.
6. Add flour, sifted cassava, baking power, milk and spices.
7. Pour in to greased pans and bake at 350 for 45-60 minutes
