  1. Remove the skin and scoop the cores out of the apples, boil them in acidified and sugared water until done.
  2. Beat the cream or sour cream together with castor sugar, add half of the crumbled nuts.
  3. Fill the hollowed apples with the prepared mixture, then dust them with the remaining nuts and decorate with slices of apples.
