This Maroccan sweet bread is ideal as a snack. It is suitable for vegetarians and is absolutely gorgeous. Enjoy!
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 360ml water or 1 cup + 1/3 cup + 2Tablespoons
- 15g dry active yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 450g strong white flour or 3 1/2 cups
Take the dough out of the bowl and flour the work surface. Knead it for 10 minutes, until it begins to firm up.
flour a baking tray in preparation for baking.
Shape the dough into a loaf and place it on the baking tray. Leave it in a cool, dark place for 30 minutes, by which time it should have doubled in size.
Preheat the oven to 375F.
Put the loaf in the oven and bake for about 45 minutes.
Serve when it has cooled.
