  • Preheat oven to 350 °F (175 °C)
  1. Blend together condensed milk and lime juice.
  2. Mix in egg yolks and whole egg.
  3. Pour mixture into crust
  4. Cover and refrigerator for one hour
  5. Refrigerate for two hours.
  6. Prepare Meringue:
    • Always use glass or stainless steel for meringue. Plastic absorbs oils which will prevent the meringue from setting, and copper reacts with egg whites and turns them gray.
    1. Beat egg whites until foamy.
    2. Gradually add sugar, and continue to beat until whites form stiff peaks.
    3. Spread or spoon meringue over pie, covering completely
  7. Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes. Chill before serving.
  8. Enjoy.
