  1. Peel banana and cut into ½ inch thick pieces.
  2. In a sauce pan add two cups of water, ½ tsp salt and ½ tsp turmeric.
  3. Add banana, boil for tree minutes.
  4. Drain water in 2 tsp of oil, fry banana slices until both sides are brown.
  5. Peel and cube potatoes.
  6. Boil in salt water and drain.
  7. In a frying pan, heat 2 tsp oil.
  8. Add cumin seeds.
  9. Then add ground onion, green chilli, turmeric, cinnamon, cardamom and ½ cup of water.
  10. Stir and fry until oil separates from spices.
  11. Add potatoes and fry 2 minutes.
  12. Add banana,salt,sugar, lemon juice and ½ cup of water.
  13. Cover cook over low heat for 5 minutes.
  14. Serve hot with rice or chapati.
