  1. Prepare shredded cabbage as directed.
  2. Mix sugar, cornstarch, vinegar, soy sauce, gingerroot and garlic; reserve.
  3. Heat wok or 12-inch skillet until hot.
  4. Add oil and tilt wok to coat side.
  5. Add cabbage, onions, carrot and bell pepper.
  6. Stir-fry 3 minutes.
  7. Stir in vinegar mixture.
  8. Cook and stir about 10 seconds or until thickened.
