A very moist, yummy dessert. Tastes better the next day.
Ingredients[]
- 1/4 cup shortening
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup bananas
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup nuts
Directions[]
- Combine: shortening; vanilla; bananas; brown sugar; lemon juice. Blend well;mix.
- Powder; flour; salt. Slowly add to banana mixture; Blend well. Stir in; nuts.
- Bake in 11x7 sprayed pan, 350, 30 to 35 minutes. Cut while warm.
