Ham and Asparagus Rolls

1 lb. asparagus, trimmed

Brown mustard

16 slices ham 6 T. butter 6 T. flour 2 cups milk Salt and pepper 6 oz. Colby cheese, shredded 8 green onions, thinly sliced

Steam asparagus until tender, set aside. Spread mustard on each slice of ham and roll around 2 asparagus spears. Place rolls in an 11 x 8 baking dish and set aside. Over medium heat, melt butter, then blend in flour to form a roux. Stir milk, in slowly, add salt and pepper, cheese and onions. Pour over asparagus rolls, cover with foil and bake at 350 for 25 minutes. makes 8 servings. Source: Unknown
