- 1/2 l sour milk
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 2 tbsp oil or fat
- 1 tsp caraway seeds
- ½ gl Barley meal
- ¾ gl wheat flour (middling)
- ½ tsp baking soda
[edit] Directions
1. Mix egg with salt and Sugar.
2. Now add sour milk, oil, caraway seeds and meal mixed with baking soda.
3. Knead the mixture to make light and tender dough.
4. Put the mixture in a buttered cake tin and bake.
Serve with butter, honey or cowberry jam.
