I purchased these collection in 1992. Notation on card says 1938

  1. Chop tomatoes, add grated rind and juice of lemons, ginger and water.
  2. Simmer 1 hour stirring occasionally to prevent burning.
  3. Add Sugar.
  4. Simmer until Sugar is dissolved and then boil rapidly until consistency of jam (approximately 25 minutes) pour into jars and seal.
