  1. Combine applesauce, oil, eggs, sugar, and milk.
  2. Add remaining ingredients through raisins.
  3. Add ½ cup puffed amaranth last.

Topping Edit

  1. Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon over top.
  2. Pour into greased bread pan.
  3. Bake at 350 °F for 1 hour (check at 45 minutes if using dark pan)
  4. Sprinkle with remaining puffed amaranth, slightly pushing into top.
  5. Run knife around edges of pan to loosen bread.
  6. Set on wire rack.
  7. Cool 10 minutes.
  8. Invert: remove pan.
  9. Turn bread right side up to continue cooling.
