German Beer Bread
3 cups self-rising flour
2 rounded Tablespoons sugar
12 oz. beer, room temperature
1 1/2 teaspoon cheese or bacon bits (optional)
pinch salt
1/2 cup butter, melted
Preheat oven to 350�. Mix first five ingredients together well.
Pour into 9x5 loaf pan. Bake for 30 minutes. Pour butter over
top & bake 10 minutes more or until brown. Best when eaten warm.
