- 20 Button Mushrooms
- 1 egg, beaten
- 4 Tablespoon Fresh white breadcrumbs
- 1/2 Teaspoon garlic granules, or garlic pepper
- oil for deep frying
- Mix the breadcrumbs and the garlic granules and season with salt and pepper (don't add pepper if you are using garlic pepper).
- Dip the Mushrooms in the breadcrumb mixture.
- Deep fry until golden.
- Drain and blot on kitchen paper.
- Serve with a separate sauce for dipping such as garlic Mayonnaise or garlic dip.
