Fried Puffs
1 C all-purpose flour 250 ml
1 C potato (whipped) 250 ml
1 egg (well beaten) 1
1-1/2 t baking powder 7 ml
� t salt 2 ml
� C milk 125 ml
Pure vegetable oil
Combine all ingredients in mixing bowl. Stir well to blend. Drop by heaping tablespoons into hot oil (375�F; 190�C). Fry until golden brown. Serve with cheese spreads or honey.
Yield: 24 to 30 puffs
