Fireside Coffee

1 cup half and half 1 unsweetened chocolate baking square (1 oz) chopped 1 cup hot brewed coffee 6 T. bourbon 1/4 to 1/2 cup sugar 1/3 cup whipping cream 1/2 t. vanilla Whipped cream (optional)

Microwave half and half in a 2 cup glass measuring cup on high for 1 to 2 minutes or until steamy. Pour over chocolate in a 2 quart pan; let stand 1 minutes and whisk until smooth. Stir in coffee and next 4 ingredients. Serve at once. Top with whipped cream, if desired. Makes 4 servings. Source: Unknown
