Apache Fried Rabbit

Ingredients

• swamp or cotton-tail rabbit
• bacon or pork drippings
• flour
• salt
• water

Directions

1. Dress swamp or cotton-tail rabbit.
2. Wash, cut up, and cover with water, and cook until nearly done.
3. Take pieces out of liquid, dust with flour and salt, and fry until brown in a skillet of pork fat.
