  1. Drain and rinse the beans, using cold water.
  2. Take the skins of the beans off.
  3. Pound or grind the beans, or put through the food processor, minced to very fine.
  4. Add the garlic, onions and peppers, mix well.
  5. Add the remaining ingredients.
  6. Pound or process into a paste.
  7. Cover and let stand 1½ hour.
  8. Take about 2 tablespoons of the mixture and form into patties about 1½ inch diameter.
  9. Let the patties set another 15 minutes.
  10. Fry them in vegetable oil until golden brown.
  11. See tahini sauce recipe.
  12. Best way to eat serve with fresh pita bread, tomato, cucumber top with tahini sauce.
