  1. Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg.
  2. Set aside.
  3. Beat whipping cream in a large bowl until stiff.
  4. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each egg.
  5. Add sugar, gradually, beating until well blended.
  6. Add rum flavoring.
  7. Fold in dry ingredients, gently, ¼ at a time, until all dry particles disappear.
  8. Put into two 9" round layer pans, well greased and lightly floured on the bottoms.
  9. Cool.
  10. Spread frosting between layers and on top.
  11. Garnish with nutmeg.
  12. Refrigerate until serving time.
