  • 12 nos. dried figs
  • 1/3 cup chopped dry fruits (almonds, pista, cashewnuts, walnuts)
  • 1 teaspoon ghee
  • 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • a few saffron strands
  • For the garnish
  • 2 edible silver leaves

Directions Edit

  1. Blanch the figs in boiling water for about 2 minutes.
  2. Drain and puree them in a food processor.
  3. Combine the fig puree, dry fruits, ghee, cardamom powder and saffron to make a soft dough.
  4. Roll out into a rectangle 4" x 3".
  5. Garnish with silver leave.
  6. Cut into 1" x 1" squares.
