  1. Preheat oven to 350 °F.
  2. Grease a 13 x 9 inch square baking pan.
  3. In large bowl, cream shortening, eggs and brown sugar.
  4. Add in (kahlúa or milk) and vanilla extract and mix well.
  5. Gradually add in flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt a little at a time.
  6. Mix until well blended.
  7. Fold in chocolate chips, peanut butter chips and toffee chips (or crushed heath bars) and stir until chips are evenly distributed in dough.
  8. Spread dough in pan and bake 25 to 30 minutes.
  9. Let cool before cutting into bars.
