  1. Wash chickens and wipe dry.
  2. Heat lard in a large skillet; fry chicken pieces on both sides until golden.
  3. Remove as cooked and keep warm.
  4. When all pieces are cooked pour off almost all fat; add onions and garlic.
  5. Saute until tender.
  6. Stir in paprika; cook one minute.
  7. Mix in chicken broth; bring to a boil.
  8. Season with salt and pepper; return chicken pieces to skillet.
  9. Cook slowly covered until chicken is tender.
  10. Add more broth during cooking if needed.
  11. Remove to a warm platter.
  12. Combine flour and sour cream; mix into skillet.
  13. Cook slowly stirring until thickened and smooth.
  14. Return chicken pieces to sauce; leave on stove long enough to heat through.
