Crispy Baked Catfish

A catfish recipe. Serves 4 and makes about ⅔ cup (6 servings) of homemade tartar sauce

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F degrees.
  2. Coat baking sheet with vegetable oil or cooking spray several times to coat.
  3. In a shallow dish, combine cheese, bread crumbs, garlic powder, Half Chef Q Season All and white pepper.
  4. In another dish, whisk together lemon juice and olive oil.
  5. Roll nuggets in beaten egg whites. Then, roll in cheese mixture.
  6. Dust with paprika and spray lightly with cooking spray.
  7. Place catfish on prepared baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes.
  9. Reduce the heat to 350°F, and bake for an additional 8–10 minutes, until crust is golden and fish flakes easily.
  10. Serve with homemade tartar sauce.

Homemade tartar sauce Edit

  1. Combine and blend well.
  2. Serve with crispy baked catfish nuggets.
