  1. Place the cornstarch in a deep saucepan.
  2. Slowly add the milk, stirring until smooth.
  3. Add the stock, peanuts, onion, salt, and cayenne pepper, stirring constantly.
  4. Bring to a boil and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes.
  5. Beat with a rotary beater for 1 minute.
  6. Strain.
  7. Serve hot.
