Cream of Carrots Soup

In Romanian: Supa de morcovi (crema)



  1. Julienne the carrots and onion and set to boil until the carrots are tender.
  2. Strain, then sieve the carrots and onion.
  3. Add the puree obtained this way to the strained liquid and set to boil again, with the sugar, salt and butter.
  4. Let boil for a few minutes and then add sour cream when serving.
  5. Serve with croutons.
