Cottage cheese strudel

In Romanian: Strudel cu brinza de vaca

[edit] Ingredients

• Strudel dough,
• confectioner's sugar with vanilla flavor;

Filling:

• 1 3/4 lbs/750 g cottage cheese,
• 2 eggs,
• 2 tablespoons Sugar (optional),
• salt,
• 3 tablespoons melted butter or lard

[edit] Directions

1. Mix the Cheese with the eggs, salt and Sugar.
2. Knead with your hands.
3. Arrange the Cheese mixture at one end of the greased strudel dough.
4. Cover with the edge of the dough and roll like a jelly roll.
5. Continue as for Apple strudel.
6. When it is done, cut and sprinkle with vanilla flavored Sugar.
