  1. In a deep saucepan, saute vegetables in oil; add garlic and salt.
  2. Then add 2 cups rice and 2 cups water.
  3. Cover rice and set setting on medium high, leave it for 14 minutes and never open until 14 minutes are up.
  4. Then open rice and stir only once.
  5. Cover rice and set on low for 15 minutes.
