Cinnamon Walnuts

4 cups walnut halves (1 pound) 8 T. (1 stick) butter, melted 1/2 cup Cinnamon sugar

Put the walnut halves and melted butter in the slow cooker and mix well. Add the cinnamon Sugar and stir until the walnut halves are evenly coated. Cover and cook on high for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to low and cook uncovered for another 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until the nuts are coated with a glaze, stirring occasionally. transfer walnuts to a bowl and allow them to cool completely. Makes 16 appetizer servings. Add it: When the walnuts are done but still in the slow cooker, sprinkle them with 1/2 t. apple pie spice and stir to coat them evenly. Source: Unknown
