Cinnamon Crisps

1 cup butter or margarine, softened 1 cup sugar 1 egg yolk 1 t. vanilla 1 t. cinnamon 2 cups flour 1 egg white 3/4 cup finely chopped pecans

Mix first 6 ingredients well and spread into lightly greased jelly roll pan. Beat egg white with mixer in a small bowl. Spread over dough and sprinkle with pecans. Bake in a preheated 300 oven for 30 to 40 minutes. Cut immediately. Source: A Southern Collection, Then and Now
