Cider vinegar Barbecue Sauce

1 1/2 cups cider vinegar 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar 1/4 cup ketchup 1 t. hot sauce 1 t. browning and seasoning sauce 1/2 t. salt 1/2 t. onion powder 1/2 t. pepper 1/2 t. Worcestershire sauce

In a medium pan, stir together all ingredients. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly 7 minutes or until sugar dissolves. Cover and chill. If giving as a gift, attach a card which reads: Chill up to 2 weeks. use as a basting sauce for pork or chicken. This sauce is often referred to as Lexington Style dip, and there are many variations to this traditional Southern sauce. Package it along with a basting brush for grilling. Source: Unknown
