- Combine rice, water, soy sauce, oil and vegetables in 2- to 3-quart saucepan.
- Bring to a boil. Stir once or twice.
- Reduce heat, cover, and simmer 15 minutes.
- Reduce heat, cover, and simmer 5 minutes, or until rice and vegetables are tender and liquid is absorbed.
- Season to taste.
