  1. Sauté sausage in skillet until golden brown.
  2. Remove to a plate, keep warm.
  3. Heat butter in skillet.
  4. Add onion, saute until slightly softened.
  5. Add apple, cook until slightly softened.
  6. Stir in cider, chutney and sausage, cook 10 minutes, or until onion is softened and sauce is slightly thickened.
  7. Serve with mashed potatoes.
