Chewy Chocolate Chunk Cookies
1/2 cup butter, softened 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed 1/2 cup sugar 1 egg 1/2 t. vanilla extract 1 cup plus 2 T. flour 1/2 t. salt 1/2 t. baking soda 1/2 cup chopped nuts 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chunks
Blend together butter and sugars until creamy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Set aside. Combine flour, salt and baking soda; mix well and stir into butter mixture. Fold in nuts and chocolate chunks. Drop by teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart on greased baking sheets. Bake at 375 for 10 minutes or until golden. Makes 2 dozen. Source: Unknown
