This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Henson Estate in Dallas, Texas in 1982.

  1. Place 1 cube of cheese in middle of wonton wrapper then fold in half to form a triangle sealing edges with water.
  2. Fold remaining 2 edges together and seal.
  3. Repeat with remaining cheese and wrappers.
  4. Heat oil in deep skillet to 375°F.
  5. Fry wontons 6 to 8 at a time until golden brown about 4 minutes.
  6. Drain on paper towels.
