1 Heat oil in heavy pot.

2 Add cumin seeds.

3 When they begin to darken, add the Onion.

4 Stir & fry for 7 minutes.

5 Turn heat to low & add cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves & coriander.

6 Mix well & add garlic & ginger.

7 Stir & fry for 2 minutes.

8 Add paste.

9 Add chick Peas, salt, Cayenne & amchoor.

10 Mix well, cover & cook for 10 minutes.

11 You may have to add an extra 2 tablespoons or so of stock
