Cepelinai is a national Lithuanian dish. Cepelinai could be compared with big dumplings that are made from potato stuffed with meat. The shell is made from raw potatoes that are grated and strained off, boiled potato added. Meat is minced, if raw, or chopped up, if boiled or smoked. It is seasoned with salt, pepper and other spice, onion is added. After preparation Cepelinai are put to boiling water carefully and must be watched all the time.

Making Cepelinai takes about 3 hours.
