Trinidad Tobago desserts always use a lot of tropical fruits such as mangoes, pawpaws or guavas. Due to the great number of ethnical orientations, the Trinidad Tobago cuisine, and also their desserts have to adjust all the time. Avery popular dessert in this country is made with Indian sweets served with ice cream and flavored with fresh tropical fruits. Famous for its Rum production, this country uses it in cakes also. The Trinidad Rum Cake is made with eggs, butter, dried fruits, enriched flour, and brown sugar mixed with lemon juice. Besides sweet desserts, salty or even spicy desserts are very common in this county. Such a dessert is called Guvana Cheese.
