Typical Papuan dishes include a variety of soups generally prepared with meat and different legumes. Bugandi Egg Drop Soup, Poultry Soup are the most popular soups. A delicious soup called Herb Soup is made of abika cabbage, a large quantity of ginger, onion, chili, salt and pepper. Poultry soup is made of chicken breast and chicken fat mixed with onion, garlic, peas, potatoes and vegetable oil. Stews are also very popular among Papuans and they are usually made after Chinese recipes. The most popular stew recipes are Chinese pork braised in soy broth, Gupilo, Khoresht Ghaimeh, Porotos grandos and Zurzuela de Mariscos.
