Laplap- is the most important dish of this country considered to be the national dish. Pounding yam roots or taro roots and making them like a paste makes this dish. The mixture is placed on spinach leaves and soaked in coconut milk. Finally pork, chicken or fish meat is added and the hole mixture is placed on grill .
Tuluk- is a dish made with pork. The meat is filled with all kind of vegetables and stewed. Nalot- this is a light dish served mostly as an appetizer or a side dish. It is made from boiled or roasted banana, breadfruit, or taro mixed with water and grated coconut.
