Some salads made with meat can easily be consumed as a main course since they can be very studgy. Vegetable salads can be served as accompaniment to various types of stews or as starters and appetizers. Also if your weakness is seafood than Mauritius is the best place to consume it. Millionaire’s salad is a fine studgy salad made with shrimps, crayfish, oysters and crabs. Also a very good salad made with seafood is called Habou and contains Rosenbergi prawns garnished with “sauce rouge”.
