Mauritius, a multicultural country is famous for the Rum produced in local distilleries. Types of Rum that you can find in this country vary from the simplest ones like Goodwill to the finest ones like Green Island. When it comes to wines, these are quite expensive due to the fact they have to be imported. Still the best found on the market are the French wines or those produced in South-Africa which are a bit lighter than the rest. People say that beer can be very good in Mauritius either you have a stronger one called Blue Marin or a lighter one like Phoenix.
