The Kyrgyzstan cuisine has numerous recipes for preparing soups. There are many soup recipes which include meat such as lagman a thick soup made with noodles and finely cut meat and radish; shorpo is a delicious soup made with mutton meat. Generally soups are made of pork, beef and very rarely poultry meat boiled with vegetables like tomatoes, potatoes and carrots, and noodles are also a special ingredient for the soups. Just like soups, stews are also very common in Kyrgyzstan cuisine. A popular stew all over Kyrgyzstan is jarkop made with potatoes and any kind of meat like beef, pork or poultry.
