A typical Israeli tea is strong, sweetened with sugar and cream and intensely flavored with cardamom seeds. Elam cayi (From, Turkish Elma cayi, lit. apple tea), or apple tea is flavored with cinnamon barks, rose petals, honey and it contains dried flaked or sliced apples. Another sweet traditional Jewish drink is the kliuk vennyi mors, more specifically – cranberry drink, which is prepared out of pureed fruits and sweetened with honey.
