History of Green TeaEdit
The history of green tea is found somewhere between myth and reality. The story goes that a legendary Chinese leader and medical expert, Sheng Nong discovered the beneficial effects of green tea by accident – he was boiling water under a green tea bush and some leaves fell in the pot. When Sheng Nong drank the water he discovered the powerful positive effects of the green tea leaves (all this is dated to around 2737 BC). However, records of tea can be traced back to about 4000 BC in China.
