In Eritrean cuisine, eating snacks is not very common. As snacks, people from Eritrea eat a lot of fruits like papaya, mango, bananas; or injera which is delicious pancake normally eaten with the main meals. Between meals people from Eritrea eat hembesha or injera with a variety of sauces. There are also numerous salads and salads and sweets consumed as snacks. A popular snack in Eritrea contains milk yoghurt mix with a cup of the amaze. Popcorn is usually served with coffee. Eritrean lentils are also very appreciated mostly by vegetarians. Eritrean lentils are made with dried lentils, water, seeded and chopped Anaheim green peppers, red onions, spiced butter, grated fresh ginger, crushed garlic and berbere sauce.
