Like most of the African countries, Comoros has a unique cuisine and delicious exotic dishes. Among the most appreciated dishes in this country are the “ Sweet Pea Soup”, “ Avocado with Smoked Fish” and “ Chalada Fakya”.

Sweet pea soup- is a favorite dish used mostly as a starter. The main ingredients used for cooking this soup are chopped onion, minced garlic, fresh peeled ginger, cayenne pepper, gram masala, tomatoes, diced sweet potatoes and fresh green peas.

Avocado with smoked fish- is a dish easily to prepare. All one needs in order to get it done right is some smoked fish, eggs, lime juice, alive oil, avocados and red bell pepper.

Chlada Fakya- is a simple fruit salad garnished with cinnamon and usually served as an appetizer or a dessert. The main ingredients are a melon, apples, bananas, oranges, orange juice, lemon juice, sugar and vanilla. It can have an exquisite taste is served with whipped cream.
