Burmese people don't have many types or soups. However, they use these dishes to ease the transition from appetizers to meat dishes. They use fish, even in soups, as there is a lot of them, since Myanmar is an island. Two of the soups that can be eaten in Myanmar or in a restaurant with Burmese traditional food, are Coconut Noodle Soup and Mandalay Fish Noodles. Noodles are often used in soups, the most famous varietes being vermicelli noodles and rice noodles.
