The Armenian cuisine has been influenced by many nations, such as the Greeks, the Turks, the Russians and the Georgians. Also, Armenia affected the cuisines of these people, in return. This is why some of the Armenian dishes may resemble of the traditional dishes of the civilizations mentioned above. However, the Armenians made use of the local ingredients and developed specific preparation methods.
